Annapolis, MD - Mar. 19, 2026 - A Maryland congressman is trying to force a vote on paying Transportation Security Administration workers while the partial government shutdown continues.
Congressman John Olszewski took to social media and said he is in favor of the move.
“We have to make sure these services are being delivered for the American people,” he wrote. “I urge all of my colleagues to do the same. Let’s sign the discharge petitions, get these clean funding bills out there and pay our hard working employees.”
It’s a way to force a vote on funding the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the TSA and the Coast Guard, including their employees.... Read More: WBAL
