A new study ranked Maryland the state with the longest emergency room waiting times.

The study, conducted by  Med.ro, looked at the average waiting time between when patients arrived at the emergency room to when they were called for treatment.

The study found Maryland patients have to wait an average of 239 minutes, the equivalent of four hours, before being called to get treated.
