Baltimore, MD - Nov. 18, 2025  -  The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is expected to vote on its findings that caused a massive container ship to crash into the Francis Scott Key Bridge, which collapsed and killed six construction workers.

The vote on Tuesday comes a day after Maryland officials more than doubled the estimated cost to replace the bridge, and added two years onto the projected completion date, which is now set for 2030.

That projected cost is now between $4.3 and $5.2 billion, after being estimated for a cost of about $1.9 billion.

Gov. Wes Moore said Monday that preliminary estimates for the cost and timeline of the rebuild were made less than two weeks after the bridge collapsed in March 2024.... Read More: FOX45
