At the beginning of this weeks Parsha we are exposed to one of those anomalies which appears from time to time in the Torah – a double repeated Phrase.  Hashem tells Moshe to send the spies “Ish Echad Ish Echad L'mateh Avosav – One Man One Man from the tribe of his father (Shelach  13:2).  We can certainly understand why it may have been important to send one spy from every Shevet but why did Hashem choose to to repeat the words Ish Echad?  Many of the Mepharshim describe how Moshe was concerned that Bnei Yisroel may not be ready to go into Eretz Yisroel and he was hesitant to send the spies at all.  Some comment that Moshe was going to try and “stack the deck” and choose only those spies that he though were most likely to bring a...

The public was asked to avoid coming to the hospital unless absolutely necessary. One impact site in Ramat Gan resulted in damage to at least 20 buildings, an...
The IDF published data on Wednesday regarding launches by Iran so far since the beginning of Operation Rising Lion, which has been ongoing for six days. According to the summary, the Iranians so far launched approximately 400 long-range surface-to-surface ballistic missiles, of which 20 hit built-up areas and caused casualties and property damage This figure, while indeed indicating certain vulnerabilities, still fits the Defense Ministry's forecasts, and is considered relatively low in terms of casualties. If she didn’t help “nab the bad guys,” Dean was told ominously, she could be convicted for money laundering. The scam unraveled when Dean went to the bank to withdraw mo...
