Jerusalem, Israel - May 11, 2025 - Hamas is reportedly expected to announce the release of American-Israeli soldier Edan Alexander tonight, Walla reported on Sunday.
Alexander's parents confirmed the development to Channel 12, stating, "We are waiting for Hamas's announcement, and [US envoy Steve] Witkoff updated us that this is expected to happen."
Hamas published a propaganda video of Alexander before Passover, which his family allowed for publication.

Atlanta, GA - May 11, 2025 - An air traffic control equipment outage caused the Federal Aviation Administration to implement a ground stop at both Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and Newark Liberty International Airport on Sunday morning.
The ground stop for the Newark airport, which meant flights heading to Newark could not take off, lasted about 45 minutes, according to FAA air traffic advisories.
Meanwhile, the ground stop for Atlanta is still ongoing, and there is no estimated time for it to end.
The specific details of both outages were not immediately clear.
